West Coast Shows in October and November

Sharon Robinson will be headlining US West Coast shows in October and November, marking the first time she’ll perform songs from her critically acclaimed debut album “Everybody Knows” outside of her hometown of Los Angeles.

Along with playing compositions from her first solo effort, Sharon plans to give fans a preview of material from her second album scheduled for a Spring 2012 release.

The short run kicks off October 8 at Zoey’s Café in Ventura, CA. Shows in Los Angeles and San Francisco will be announced later this week. See the shows widget in the sidebar on the right for show details and ticket information.

Plans are in the works for more US dates and a European tour beginning in the Spring of next year.

    Hi Sharon,

Are you still playing at Hugh’s Room in Toronto on November 11th? I don’t see it listed any more. I hope the answer is yes but I’m not very optimistic!

I’m really looking forward to the new album.

Knowing they would be back in the late Spring for their first proper headlining run left me with something to sincerely look forward to.

For those of you on the West Coast who missed the shows, Sharon plans to do another West Coast run along with dates on the US East Coast, Canada and Europe next spring and summer in support of her new project.

The third leg of the 2010 tour started on 28 October in New Zealand and continued in Australia, including an open-air concert at Hanging Rock near Melbourne. It was the first show ever organised at the site. The tour finished with seven special dates added in Vancouver, Portland, Victoria and Oakland, with two final shows in Las Vegas’ The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on 10 and 11 December. The very last concert on 11 December was the 246th show on the world tour which started on 11 May 2008.
