In Memory of Roberta Flack

"Roberta Flack was a great inspiration to me as a singer. That velvety, pitch-perfect voice and beautitul soul. It was such an honor in ’91 when she recorded a song I wrote with Leonard Cohen called Summertime. And by chance, meeting her at the Grammy’s in 2010. Such a thrill. She graciously kissed my hand and asked me to write her another song. So sad to hear of her passing. RIP Roberta Flack."
